NOGEPA has 16 members and 1 associated member. Members of NOGEPA hold a licence for exploration and/or production of oil and gas. As operator they carry responsibility for the oil and gas exploration and production activities. Associated members hold licenses, but are not an operator.  

NOGEPA members employ more than 3.000 people, onshore and offshore. Another 3.200 people work in the supply industry. Offshore, another 10.000 people are employed. NOGEPA members produce 2 million cubic meters of oil and 75 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Dutch soil.

Cuadrilla

Cuadrilla Resources Ltd., an independent British gas and oil company, plans to to drill the Netherlands’ first unconventional gas well in the township of Boxtel in North Brabant province later this year. The company exists since 2007, the headquarter is located in Lichfield, Staffordshire (UK). At the present we are investigating the possibility of gas and oil in a number of European countries, especially in Great Britain, the Netherlands and Poland. In the Netherlands, Cuadrilla Resources Ltd. has two subsidiaries: Brabant Resources Ltd (concession North Brabant) and Hardenberg Resources Ltd (concession Noordoostpolder).

Dana

Dana Petroleum plc is a leading British independent oil company, committed to maximising shareholder value through the creation and execution of high impact opportunities. In the Netherlands Dana Petroleum operates the Hanze (block F2a) and De Ruyter (block P11b) fields and has interests in a number of operated and non-operated exploration and production licences.

Hansa

Hansa Hydrocarbons is an E&P company focused on the prolific gas basin which extends across the Southern North Sea to onshore Northern Europe building a broad and balanced portfolio through acquisition, farm-in and licence application. The company was launched in July 2008 with a $100 million equity commitment from Avista Capital Partners, the US based private equity investor. Hansa Hydrocarbons has built a portfolio of operated and non-operated projects across two core areas in the UK and German Southern North Sea and continues to seek further opportunities to grow the business.

Oranje Nassau

Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Oranje-Nassau Energie B.V. (ONE) is a privately owned oil and gas company, which has production and exploration assets offshore the Netherlands, and production assets in UK and Gabon. The ONE asset base now produces some 9,000 boe/day. ONE is strategically positioned to grow its existing asset base in the regions where it is presently active. In April 2011 it has acquired Cirrus Energy, now renamed as Oranje-Nassau Energie Nederland B.V., thus becoming an operator.
