NOGEPA Safety Training Handbook
 

NOGEPA is the custodian of the NOGEPA Safety Training Handbook. This handbook specifies a number of specific safety & technical training courses for the oil and gas industry. The matrix in the handbook specifies what training is necessary for specific tasks in e.g  emergency response teams on an offshore platform or other offshore installation. 

Standardisation

Next to the courses listed in the NOGEPA Safety Training Handbook NOGEPA also seeks to bring in a degree of standardisation to the various other  training courses  used in our industry for e.g electrical and technical disciplines.

Certification of training institutes

To be able to give the training courses as described in the NOGEPA Safety Training Handbook, training institutes must be recognised by NOGEPA. NOGEPA keeps a record of all recognised trainings institutes.

Training institutes can apply for recognition  by NOGEPA of their courses. The NOGEPA-guidelines on training evaluation apply.
